Camping Argegna

Geöffnet nicht verfügbar GIUNCUGNANO (LU) - [ Toskana ] Camping Argegna is ideal for a nature holiday.

We are located about 1000 metres above sea level, on the Argegna Mountain which borders the Apuan Alps and is on the edge of the Tosco-Emiliano Appennine National Park.
Great for trekkers and mountain-lovers, lots of people come to the Garfagnana to admire the mountain slopes and peaks, especially those of the Apuan alps.

The camping site is spacious with plenty of parking spots for camper vans, caravans or tents, already equipped with electricity supply. It is also possible to book a stay directly in one of the camping site's own mobile homes which are equipped with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or shower.
This year we have added a swimming pool which is free for campsite guests.

From the camping site it is a short distance to either the Apuan mountains, or to the Tosco-Emiliano Appenine National Park.
At 1000 metres above sea level, the climate is noted in summer for its breezes coming from the direction of the sea, which is also not far away.
This area is particularly suited to mountain excursions, providing splendid panoramas of beech woods, olive groves, pine groves and oak forests. This is the perfect place in autumn for collecting mushrooms, particularly porcini mushrooms, and also chestnuts.
This area also attracts those who like to go mountain biking as there are a myriad of paths, some easy, some difficult, Not far from the roads you can also find rivers and lakes where fishing is permitted. This year a swimming pool has been added to the campsite, the use of which is free for guests.

There are 60 camping bases provided for camper vans, caravans or tents, each with connnection to the electricity supply.
It is also possible to book a stay directly in one of the site's mobile homes which come furnished with a kitchen and 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with twin beds). They can be arranged to accommodate six people sleeping and have either a bath or a shower.
For couples and small families we also provide stays in caravans which have an attached wooden lodge at the entrance to the caravan and which is arranged as a dining zone and kitchen. This year we have added a swimming pool which is free for campsite guests.

During the year, larger groups can also be accomodated in a farm building next to the campsite which has its own kitchen. This can hold a maxmum of 60 people.
There is a small bar, recently renovated, and a little shop attached where you can buy the basic necessities and also typical products of the region.
The restaurant serves genuine local dishes and is available for breakfast, lunch and evening meal.

This area is blessed with a rich historical, artistic and cultural heritage: the territory is situated not far from the main road, the SS 445 which links Lucca with Aulla, and on the borders of Lunigiana, in the valley which divides the two rivers, the Torrente Aulella and the River Serchio.
